A whole, polished fossil shell with a coiled form and natural colors that range from browns and black to gold, white, tan and pearly tones. Sizes run from about 0.75 to 3 inches.

Choose under 50 grams up to 151 to 200 grams. Set it on a coffee table or shelf, add it to a fossil collection, or use smaller ones in jewelry, mosaics and art. The hand photos show each weight range.

Each fossil is unique in size, color and pattern. Keep it dry and dust it with a soft cloth to protect the polish.

About Nautiloids and Ammonites

Nautiloids and ammonites are both shelled cephalopods with chambered shells. The nautilus family dates back to the Late Triassic and still lives today, while ammonites, more closely related to octopus and squid, died out about 66 million years ago.
