A sleek bar of gemstone, drilled at both the top and bottom center so it can link to chains or hang charms below. Each bar measures about 9 to 10 millimeters by 39 to 40 millimeters.

Choose deep blue lapis lazuli, spotted dalmatian jasper, green aventurine, flashy labradorite or clear crystal quartz. Use it as a connector in a necklace, as a pendant with a dangle below, or in earrings. Small natural lines are part of each stone's character.

About the Stones

Crystal quartz is rated 7 on the Mohs scale, and green aventurine, a quartz rock, about 6.5. Labradorite is a feldspar with flashes of color, lapis lazuli is a blue rock colored by lazurite, and dalmatian jasper is a spotted rock sold under a jasper name.
