Large Yellow Calcite Flower Cluster - China, High Grade, One of a Kind

One large calcite piece can anchor a room, and this high grade yellow calcite flower from China has honey colored points radiating from its center.

The golden yellow points spread in a radial pattern, which is where the name calcite flower comes from, and the arrangement looks different from the back and close up views shown in the photos. At about 11 inches wide and nearly 10 kilograms, it is a centerpiece for a living room console, an office, a collector's cabinet or a gallery style shelf, and it anchors a crystal collection on its own. It suits a collector marking a milestone or anyone drawn to warm, golden decor. This is the exact yellow calcite cluster shown.

The cluster is about 11 by 10 by 7.5 inches tall and weighs about 9.65 kilograms (21.3 pounds).

About Yellow Calcite

Calcite is calcium carbonate, one of the most common minerals on Earth, and it comes in white, colorless, yellow, orange, blue, green and red. It is soft, 3 on the Mohs scale, and has perfect rhombohedral cleavage in three directions, so well formed crystal clusters reward careful display.

Stone Meaning: Yellow calcite is traditionally associated with optimism and clarity.
