Iolite Chips - 1 lb Bag

Small iolite chips fill this 1 pound bag, each about 8 to 12 millimeters, in shades of violet-blue. Turn a chip in the light and you will see its color shift.

Use them for resin and craft projects, wire wrap individual chips, fill a jar or dish, or scatter them in a plant pot or meditation space.

Every chip has its own tone, from deep blue-violet to pale gray-blue. Small pieces are not suitable for young children. The quarter photo shows the size.

About Iolite

Iolite is gem cordierite. It is strongly pleochroic, showing violet-blue, pale blue and yellowish tones from different angles, and is nicknamed the Vikings' compass for a legend of navigation by polarized light.
