Black Obsidian Flower of Life Crystal Grid Plate - As Is, 7.75 In

For an altar or desk, this black obsidian grid plate has the Flower of Life carved into its polished top.

It is sold as is because of a few minor marks on the back, shown in the last two photos. The front, where the pattern is and where your stones will sit, is not affected. The deep black makes clear quartz, amethyst or citrine stand out when you lay out a grid. Set it flat on a table or upright on a plate stand. For someone who wants a working grid plate and does not mind marks on a side that faces the table, it is a sensible pick.

About the Flower of Life

The Flower of Life is a pattern of evenly overlapping circles. Similar designs appear on an Assyrian palace threshold from the 7th or 6th century BCE, now in the Louvre, and on columns at the Temple of Osiris at Abydos in Egypt, and Leonardo da Vinci sketched the pattern in the Codex Atlanticus. The name itself is modern.

Stone Meaning: Black obsidian is traditionally associated with grounding and protection.
