Peach Apophyllite with Stilbite Cluster - One of a Kind, 3 In

Small in the hand, this peach apophyllite and stilbite cluster rewards close study and a second look.

Peach apophyllite crystals share the piece with stilbite, so glassy points sit beside softer, finer bundles in warm tones. It is light and compact, easy to slip into a cabinet of thumbnails and miniatures, and the hand photo gives a good sense of how it sits in the palm. A small specimen with two minerals on it is a nice way to show a friend how crystals grow together in the same pocket of volcanic rock. It also makes a considered gift for a new collector.

About Apophyllite and Stilbite

Apophyllite is a sheet silicate known for glassy, pyramid tipped crystals, and it often grows alongside stilbite, a true zeolite that forms sheaf or bow tie shaped bundles of thin crystals. Both develop in gas pockets inside basalt. The Deccan Traps of India are famous for this pairing, with pale green apophyllite and salmon pink stilbite found together near Mumbai and Pune.

Stone Meaning: Apophyllite is traditionally associated with clarity and spiritual growth.
