About the Stones

Rose quartz is pink quartz rated 7 on the Mohs scale. Tiger's eye gets its silky shimmer from quartz grown with fibrous minerals and is rated 6.5 to 7. Fluorite is softer, at 4, and is typically purple, green or yellow.
