Tiger's Eye Dog Cabochon - Carved Sitting Dog

Dog lovers will spot this right away: a tiger's eye cabochon cut in the shape of a dog sitting patiently, with golden shimmer along its coat.

Prop it on a shelf, wire wrap it into a pendant, or give it to a new puppy parent or someone remembering a beloved pet. The shimmer changes as you tilt it, which brings the little dog to life.

Each dog is about 2.75 by 1.5 inches, about 0.25 inch thick, and weighs about 15 grams. Banding and shimmer vary from piece to piece.

About Tiger's Eye

Tiger's eye is a form of quartz whose silky shimmer, called chatoyancy, comes from fibers grown in parallel within the stone.

Stone Meaning: Tiger's eye is traditionally associated with confidence and good luck.
