Sunstone Sphere - Pick Your Exact Piece, Polished Crystal Ball, 2.5 Inch

Turn a sunstone sphere under a lamp and tiny metallic flashes wink on and off inside the stone, the glitter that gave sunstone its name.

These two spheres are the same size, about 2.5 inches, a comfortable palm size for holding or for a small stand on a desk, nightstand or windowsill shelf. Their warm orange, peach and brown tones add coziness to a room, and the sparkle shows best in direct light. Sunstone makes a cheerful gift for a summer birthday, a graduation or a friend starting something new. You choose the exact sphere from the photos.

Each numbered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Both spheres are about 2.5 by 2.5 by 2.5 inches.

About Sunstone

Sunstone is a feldspar that flashes with metallic glints. The flashes come from tiny aligned plates of copper, hematite or goethite, an effect called aventurescence. It is found in India, Norway, Oregon and many other places.

Stone Meaning: Sunstone is traditionally associated with warmth and optimism.

Sizes by Number

• 1: about 2.5" x 2.5" x 2.5"
• 2: about 2.5" x 2.5" x 2.5"

Add a Sphere Stand

A stand keeps a sphere from rolling and lifts it into view, so it looks finished on a shelf, desk or altar. Pick one from our crystal sphere stands and holders, with carved wood, brass, metal and clear acrylic styles. Check the stand size against the sphere diameter for a secure fit.
