Ocean jasper comes from a single stretch of coast in northern Madagascar, and no two spheres look alike, with orbs, swirls and pockets of color all the way around.
These are hand polished by our own team, so the finish is smooth and the patterns show clearly. The 600 to 800 gram size sits nicely on a desk or nightstand, while the 1 to 1.5 kilogram sphere makes a real focal point on a coffee table or bookshelf. It is a great gift for a beach lover, a collector or anyone who likes earthy, patterned stones, and turning it to find the side you like best is half the fun.
Choose 600 to 800 grams, 800 grams to 1 kilogram, or 1 to 1.5 kilograms. The sphere gets larger as the weight goes up, and pattern and color vary.
About Ocean Jasper
Ocean jasper is a silicified rhyolite known for round orbs or eyes in many colors. It is mined from one coastal location on the Ambolobozo Peninsula of northern Madagascar, reached by boat and worked at low tide, and druzy pockets are common.
Stone Meaning: Ocean jasper is traditionally associated with patience and renewal.

Add a Sphere Stand
A stand keeps a sphere from rolling and lifts it into view, so it looks finished on a shelf, desk or altar. Pick one from our crystal sphere stands and holders, with carved wood, brass, metal and clear acrylic styles. Since size goes up with weight, match the stand to the sphere you choose.
