About Ametrine

Ametrine is quartz with zones of purple amethyst and yellow to orange citrine in the same crystal. Nearly all natural ametrine comes from the Anahi mine in Bolivia, while some on the market is made by heating or irradiating amethyst. It has a hardness of 7.
