Teal Agate Candle Holder - Geode Slab Tealight Holder, 1, 5 or 10

Bright teal agate with a tealight in its hollow center makes a candle holder that feels coastal and calm, with banding that glows once the candle is lit.

Group a few on a coffee table or bathroom shelf, use them as table lights for a beach or summer wedding, or give one as a housewarming gift. Unlit, the slab doubles as a holder for rings, a small succulent or an air plant.

Each slab weighs about 1.35 pounds and holds a standard tealight. Choose 1, 5 or 10 pieces. Thickness, shape and banding vary from slab to slab, so a set of five or ten will be a natural mix rather than identical copies.

About Agate

Agate is a translucent form of microcrystalline quartz. Its bands form as silica is deposited layer by layer inside rock cavities, and some of those cavities become geodes. It has a hardness of 7, and because it is porous, most vividly colored agate is dyed.
