Raw Deep Purple Amethyst Cluster with Calcite - One of a Kind, 4.5 In

Deep purple is the shade most people picture when they hear the word amethyst, and it is the shade you get here.

This raw cluster pairs dark amethyst crystals with calcite. At about 4.5 inches long, it fits on a nightstand, a bathroom shelf or a desk, and it is easy to move around as you rearrange. The front, back and close up views show the crystals clearly, and an in hand photo shows the size. It suits a February birthday and is a simple, welcome gift for someone starting a collection. It is a natural, raw cluster, so the amethyst crystals and calcite are left in their rough state. You get this exact cluster.

Size: about 4.5 by 2.75 by 2.75 inches tall.

About Amethyst with Calcite

Amethyst is purple quartz colored by trace iron and natural radiation. Calcite is calcium carbonate, a common companion mineral in amethyst pockets. Calcite is much softer than quartz, 3 on the Mohs scale, so those areas deserve gentler handling.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
