Large Tourmaline with Feldspar Sphere - One of a Kind Polished, 4 Inch

Tourmaline and feldspar grow side by side in some granite rocks, and this polished sphere captures that natural pairing in one solid, rounded piece.

Its dark crystals set in lighter stone give it a grounded, natural look that suits a study, an office or an entryway. At about 4 inches across, it is easy to place on a desk or bookshelf while still feeling substantial in the hand. It makes a thoughtful gift for a geology lover, a new homeowner or a collector of combination stones. This is the exact sphere shown.

The sphere is about 4 by 4 by 4 inches. Look through every photo to see the pattern from each side. Its rounded form makes it satisfying to hold as well as display.

About Tourmaline and Feldspar

Tourmaline is a group of boron silicate minerals found in many colors, with black schorl the most common. Feldspar is the most abundant mineral group in Earth's crust, and the two often occur together in granite and pegmatite.

Stone Meaning: Tourmaline is traditionally associated with grounding and balance.

Add a Sphere Stand

A stand keeps a sphere from rolling and lifts it into view, so it looks finished on a shelf, desk or altar. Pick one from our crystal sphere stands and holders, with carved wood, brass, metal and clear acrylic styles. Check the stand size against the sphere diameter for a secure fit.
