Black Tourmaline with Mica Rough Cluster - Pick Your Exact Piece, 8.5 In

Real presence comes with these two large rough black tourmaline clusters, along with intricate white stripes and flecks of shining mica.

Both clusters are left rough, so the striated crystal faces and the mica stay in their natural state instead of being ground smooth. Each is about 8.5 inches across, with cluster A the squarer and slightly thinner of the two and cluster B a little narrower and deeper, so either one fills a shelf, an altar, an entryway table or an office credenza with plenty of presence. Tourmaline is an October birthstone, which makes either cluster a thoughtful birthday gift, and both suit a new home or office. You choose the exact piece from the photos.

Each lettered option is pictured on its own, so the piece you see is the piece you receive. Cluster A is about 8.5 by 8.5 by 4 inches and cluster B is about 8.5 by 7 by 4.25 inches; each is shown labeled next to a ruler.

About Black Tourmaline with Mica

Black tourmaline, the variety called schorl, is the most common member of the tourmaline group of boron silicate minerals. It grows as long prismatic crystals, usually triangular in cross section, with heavy vertical striations on the prism faces. Mica is a group of sheet silicates that split into thin, flexible sheets with a pearly to metallic luster.

Stone Meaning: Black tourmaline is traditionally associated with grounding and protection.
