Uruguayan Amethyst Cluster on Metal Stand - Semi Polished, 8.5 In

This Uruguayan amethyst cluster sits on the dark side of purple, and its metal stand holds it up where that color can be seen.

The edges have been semi polished, so they feel smooth and catch light with a soft shine while the crystal points keep their natural form. Lifting the cluster onto a stand lets you see it upright from the front and sides, which suits a mantel, an entry table or a bookshelf with a little breathing room around it. Give it for a housewarming, a February birthday or an anniversary, or keep it where you will pass it every day.

About Uruguayan Amethyst

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, colored by trace iron exposed to natural radiation. Artigas, Uruguay and the neighboring Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul are among the largest amethyst producers in the world, and there the crystals line hollow geodes in volcanic rock.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm and balance.
