Crystal clusters of amethyst or citrine stand on a flat cut base that hides a secret: a hole about 1.25 inches wide and 4 inches deep for rolled bills, small crystals, jewelry or written intentions.

Each cluster weighs about 4 to 11 pounds and measures about 5 to 7 inches tall, 4 to 6 inches wide and 3 to 5 inches deep. It is a clever gift for new homes, graduations and business openings. The citrine option is heat treated amethyst, as is typical for citrine.

About Amethyst and Citrine

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, colored by trace iron and natural irradiation, with a Mohs hardness of 7. Most citrine on the market is heat treated amethyst, which turns the purple crystals golden. Keep amethyst out of strong sun to protect its color.

Stone Meaning: Amethyst is traditionally associated with calm, and citrine with abundance.
