Because they are sorted by weight, some points are taller and slimmer, others shorter and thicker; the hand photos show scale. Set one on a bookshelf or altar, or pair it with a selenite plate. Small natural marks are normal in this soft stone; keep it dry.

About Selenite

Selenite is a crystalline variety of gypsum, a hydrous calcium sulfate. With a Mohs hardness of only 2, it scratches easily and should be kept dry. Much of the silky white material sold as selenite is satin spar, the fibrous variety of gypsum.
