Polished to a point at both ends, this blue-green amazonite wand shows the soft white streaks that make each piece unique. Choose 50 to 100 grams, 100 to 200 grams or 200 to 300 grams; heavier points are larger.

Amazonite is a green to blue-green variety of microcline feldspar, and its color is thought to come from trace lead. It is often streaked with white quartz or feldspar and has a Mohs hardness of 6 to 6.5. Sources include Colorado, Brazil, Madagascar, Norway and Russia.
