A crescent moon cut from a slice of Brazilian agate makes an easy, celestial pendant or a pretty piece for moon decor.

Wire wrap it, glue a bail on it for a quick necklace, add it to a moon phase wall hanging, or use it in a crystal grid. Choose natural agate or blue, teal, pink, black, orange or green.

Each moon is about 40 by 15 millimeters, and banding varies from piece to piece. The colored options are dyed.

About Agate

Agate is a banded, translucent form of microcrystalline quartz. Its bands form as silica is deposited in layers inside rock cavities, and because it is porous, most vividly colored agates are dyed.
